Unanticipated Shipment Delays | Coronavirus

Hi Backers,
We wanted to keep those of you with pending orders update-to-date as this may pertain to your order.
It’s no surprise that the coronavirus outbreak has had a massive global impact. For those of you who successfully completed your order surveys, your orders successfully left port from Asia before the start of the outbreak, and as such, we were not anticipating any associated delays. However, as a precaution, customs in many countries, have been mandated to carry out thorough examinations on imports coming from China.
We've therefore been advised of additional delays of up to 3 weeks on our bulk shipment that's arrived in Vancouver, BC. Whether your order is included in this bulk shipment or passing through another customs inspection, these delays could result in some orders arriving as late as April.
We know many of you are anxious (and excited) to receive your orders and we appreciate your patience as we manage the situation. We will continue to share updates as we know more. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to message us directly or email us at [email protected].

Order Fulfilment Status - T-Shirts & Socks

As orders continue to arrive, we wanted to share a general status update for those whose orders are still in transit or if you’re among the handful who still haven’t filled out the form to complete their order.

For those who have filled out their order survey and are waiting on their order to arrive:
We remain on track to deliver most orders of socks and t-shirts in February/March (though the exact timing cannot be guaranteed and depends on your specific location). Those most subject to delays: Canadian backers who placed larger orders or backers from other countries where there are known shipping issues. We decided to ship many of these orders in bulk to our Canadian warehouse to help minimize your shipping and handling fees and more importantly, ensure the safe arrival of your order. Due to bad weather, our shipment has been slightly delayed and is estimated to arrive in Vancouver, British Columbia today before it reaches our Toronto warehouse, and finally onto the last leg of the journey to you. We appreciate everyone’s patience while orders continue to arrive!
*If you ordered underwear as add-ons, you should have received these already. We shipped all underwear orders immediately given the product was already in stock at our Toronto warehouse.
- For those who have not filled out their order survey:
We can’t begin to process your order until you finish your order survey. Here’s what you must do to receive your rewards:
1. Check your inbox for a long-lost email from our fulfillment partner, “BackerKit”. (You may need to search your spam/junk folders as well).
2. Follow the link to fill out the order survey with your preferences.

We’ve been hard at work with our factory and logistics partners and are excited to announce that production and fulfillment are both well on track!

Order Fulfillment - *Important Action Needed*

Hi Everybody,
We're off to the races to manufacture and fulfill orders - yours included! We wanted to share a quick sneak peek from the ground-floor at the factory, but more on that at the end.
Incomplete Orders (< 2 Days from Deadline)
A number of you still have outstanding orders. Similar to an online check-out, we need you to input your preferences and address information so that we can complete your order swiftly and seamlessly. If you have not yet completed this, we ask that you do so by November 20th so that we can relay your order details to our factory.
As a quick reminder, to complete your order, check your email for a link sent by “BackerKit”, our trusted fulfillment partner. If you can't find it, first check your spam folder. If you still cannot find the email, please let us know right away.
Delivery Timing
- Express shipments will go outmid-December with an estimated shipping time of 3-7 days. For an additional fee, this option can be selected in the “add-ons” section of the order form. This option is ideal if you’re gifting any of the gear for the holidays!
- Non-express orders will go out between mid-December to January with an estimated shipping time of 45 days.
Note: Orders not completed by November 20th may experience delays of up to 1-2 months.

It’s been a few weeks yet we’re still over the moon with excitement! We’ve been hard at work with our factory and logistics partners finalizing important details. Please read carefully as this update is packed with mission-critical info.
Mission Update
Firstly, we’re excited to announce that we’ve officially begun production! Unlike some Kickstarters that fail to get off the ground, this force can’t be stopped. Enjoying the aerospace puns? Well, strap in because we’re sending you on a mission of your own to ensure that your orders arrive swiftly and seamlessly.
What To Expect
You should have received an email from BackerKit, our trusted fulfillment partner. Simply follow the link in your email and create an account on their site. From here, complete your order survey to provide us with your product preferences, desired add-ons (like additional gear and express shipping), and your shipping information.
Please take your time filling this in and try to be as accurate as possible. This will help avoid unnecessary and costly shipping (space travel is expensive). This will also help ensure you love your gear the first time through to the very last.
Important dates:
- Order surveys are needed by November 20th.
- All general orders will go out between mid-December - January (estimated shipping: 45 days)
- Express shipments will go out mid-December (estimated shipping: 3-7 days). This is orderable under “add-ons” for a small fee when you are completing your order survey.
